Anthony graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, as well as a Master’s in Administration of Higher Education and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Auburn University. He is currently an ALC being supervised by Michelle Pruett, M.Ed., Ed.S., LPC-S.
Anthony works with adolescents and adults navigating a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, identity formation, emotional regulation, stress, and life transitions. He also enjoys working with engaged couples through premarital counseling and is a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator, trained to administer and integrate the SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment into the counseling process to help couples build a strong foundation for marriage. His approach focuses on helping clients build self-awareness, develop practical coping strategies, and grow in confidence and resilience.
Anthony is passionate about working with individuals from all backgrounds while helping them navigate both personal and performance-related challenges. With a background as both a collegiate coach and counselor, he has a particular passion for supporting athletes of all ages in strengthening their mental performance, confidence, composure, focus, and resilience. This passion led him to create GamePlan Mental Performance, a program that combines his experience as an athlete, coach, and counselor to help athletes develop the mindset and emotional skills needed to perform at their best, both in sport and in life.
Anthony integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a faith-based perspective. His main goal being to help clients align their thoughts, behaviors, and values with their own personal goals. Through building genuine relationships with his clients and walking with them through life’s challenges, he hopes to help each individual grow in confidence, clarity, and purpose through every session.
