Couples Counseling

Every relationship experiences challenges at times. You may feel stuck in the same arguments, disconnected from your partner, navigating betrayal, or unsure how to move forward. Couples counseling provides a supportive space to better understand one another, improve communication, and rebuild connection.

At Calvert & Associates, we have therapists trained in a variety of evidence based couples counseling approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), The Gottman Method, and Prepare and Enrich. Our team also includes clinicians with training in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), which can be especially helpful for couples navigating parenting challenges, attachment concerns, and family stressors.

In addition, we offer Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) informed care and have Certified Clinical Partner Trauma Therapists (CCPT) who specialize in supporting partners navigating betrayal and relational trauma. Our counselors draw from multiple couples therapy modalities to tailor treatment to each couple’s unique needs and goals.

Some concerns that bring couples to therapy are:

  • Communication challenges

  • Recurring conflict

  • Emotional disconnection

  • Infidelity or betrayal

  • Intimacy concerns

  • Parenting stress

  • Blended families

  • Life transitions

  • Work life balance

  • Chronic illness

  • Divorce or separation

  • Extended Family Concerns

  • Premarital counseling

  • Addiction or partner addiction support

  • Pornography concerns

We believe relationships can grow and heal when both partners feel safe, supported, and understood. Our therapists work collaboratively with couples to strengthen connection, rebuild trust, and create lasting change.

If you and your partner are ready to take the next step, our team would be honored to walk alongside you.
