Brad is a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist Candidate and a skilled Brainspotting Practitioner. He's also trained in Prepare/Enrich and has completed level one of Gottman Method Couples Therapy. With an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University, an MDiv from Beeson Divinity School, and a B.A. in Communication from Auburn University, Brad brings a rich background to his practice.
Before becoming a counselor, Brad spent 12 years working closely with adults, couples, families, teenagers, and college students within the local church community. He also gained valuable experience at Birmingham Recovery Center, focusing on outpatient drug and alcohol treatment.
Brad desires to create a safe space for clients and to offer compassion and curiosity in their journey toward wholeness He specializes in helping adults and teenagers dealing with issues like sexual/pornography concerns, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief, anger, relationship challenges, and trauma.
Outside of counseling, Brad enjoys strong coffee, reading psychology books, playing the drums, and golfing. He also enjoys spending time with his family and their high-maintenance mini golden doodle named Oxford. Brad is actively involved in his local church, serving on the Pastoral Staff.
