Kathryn is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who holds a Masters in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Science, both from Samford University. Kathryn is a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner and is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, equipping her to help individuals and couples build strong, healthy relationships. She specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges such as attachment issues, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and grief. She has a desire to work with spouses who have experienced betrayal trauma and working towards her CPTT (Certified Partner Trauma Therapist) certification. Kathryn has a passion for creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel empowered to process their emotions and develop resilience. She has three years of experience as a school counselor and previously worked with foster parents to provide support and resources for successful caregiving. Outside of her clinical work, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on walks, and reading a good book.
