Amber graduated with a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health from Liberty University. She received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Alabama. Amber has worked with the student ministry of her home church First Baptist Trussville for over ten years and counseled students at Samford University during her internship. Counseling has been an important part of Amber and her family’s lives through the years. Her passion for meeting people where they are and guiding them through life’s challenges is what lead her to a career in counseling. Amber provides a safe place for clients to grow by using integrated therapy and implementing evidence-based approaches specific to each client’s needs. Amber works with pre-teens, teens, young adults, women, couples and offers premarital counseling as a certified SYMBIS™ facilitator. She helps clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, boundaries, relationship goals, core beliefs, co-dependency and self-esteem. Amber seeks to help each client feel heard and valued while equipping them with tools to reach their goals. She believes in working with the client on a holistic level making sure to incorporate their psychological, social and spiritual needs while providing hope and encouragement.
Amber is married to her husband and they have two children. In her spare time, Amber enjoys traveling, drinking coffee, camping and spending time with family & friends.
