Taylor Wood M.Ed, ALC, NCC
Associate Licensed Counselor
Taylor Wood is an Associate Licensed Counselor and holds a Master’s in Couples and Family Counseling from the University of Montevallo. Taylor brings a grounded, compassionate presence to her work with both teens and adults.
Taylor works with clients navigating the lasting effects of trauma, low self-esteem, and complex family dynamics. She has experience supporting individuals and families through treatment for substance use disorders and understands the emotional and relational complexities that often come with recovery.
Taylor utilizes a collaborative therapeutic approach, including person-centered, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed modalities. She has been trained in Brainspotting (Phase I) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Whether clients are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, Taylor offers a steady and supportive space to explore these issues, reconnect with themselves, and navigate life with more clarity and self-trust.
Outside of therapy, Taylor loves exploring the outdoors, trail running, and reading a good book with a cup of coffee in hand.
Taylor is under the supervision of Kara Jones, LPC-S.
