    Brad Brown ALC, MDiv, MA, 

    CSAT-Candidate

    Brad is a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist Candidate, a Brainspotting Practitioner, a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and has completed level one training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. He also spent a year training at Birmingham Recovery Center, an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program. He holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University, an MDiv from Beeson Divinity School, and a B.A in communication from Auburn University where he also minored in psychology. Before entering the counseling field he spent 12 years working with adults, couples, families, teenagers and college students in the context of the local church.

    Brad desires to create a safe space for clients and to offer compassion and curiosity in their journey toward wholeness. Brad has a particular interest in counseling adults and teenagers dealing with sexual/pornography issues, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief, anger, relationship issues and trauma.

    He enjoys strong coffee, reading psychology, playing the drums, and golfing. He and his wife have a newborn daughter and a high-maintenance mini golden doodle named Oxford. They are members at a local church where Brad is on the Pastoral Staff.
